Cloud Architecture & Implementation:
Expertise in Microsoft Azure data services, including Azure Data Factory (V2), particularly for bulk data ingestion from diverse sources to targets with single transformation automation. Watermark and CDC design.
Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.
Experience working with various file formats (JSON, Parquet).
Experience working with continuous data streams (example: Kafka, PySpark).
Data Pipelines & Orchestration:
Proficient in creating data pipelines in Snowflake using micro-batch and continuous streaming processes. Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and data pipeline orchestration.
dbt & Snowflake:
Hands-on expertise in dbt and Snowflake environments, including core concepts, Jinja, testing, implementation, and integration.
Develops dbt models, macros, and tests to transform raw data into analytics-ready datasets.
Implement version control and documentation for dbt projects.
Other Desirable Skills:
Experience with Airflow.

Job Description:
The Project Manager, Data Automation, is responsible for all departmental projects supporting key divisional objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex projects, focusing on automating data processes and driving efficiency within the organization. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills who can manage multiple stakeholders and deliver projects on time and within budget. The Project Manager, Data Automation, oversees the design, development, and implementation of data automation solutions to help cleanse the data that feeds transactional and business intelligence systems. This role will lead the organization in how we automate, collect, transform, analyze, and report data associated with all products throughout their lifecycle.
Essential Functions
Lead and manage end-to-end data automation projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
Lead professional and technical staff in the development life cycle (requirements definition, project approval, design, development, and implementation) and maintenance of the systems assigned to them.
Develop project plans and timelines, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Track project performance and provide regular updates to stakeholders and leadership.
Develops associates through mentoring, coaching, and challenging assignments.
